R&D Technical Engineer (M/F)

Position: R&D Technical Engineer (Cosmetic Field)

Established since 2006 Bodia has started its activities by opening sheltering cocoon Spas in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh offering an authentic  vision of relaxation in a modernly designed Spa (www.bodiaspa.com). In order to guaranty the quality of its treatment, Bodia has created its own line of natural products made in Cambodia under the brand Bodia Cambodian Apothecary that promotes the traditional know-hows and uses local resources (www.bodia.com).

Nowadays, Bodia is a network of 7 Spas in Cambodia (4 locations in Phnom Penh & 3 locations in Siem Reap) dispensing quality treatments and offering therapist training to other spas, hotels and extending its services to franchise opening. Bodia products are made in our factory located in Phnom Penh and distributed in all official Bodia Spas and Stores, through a network of 50 local distributors and 1 online shop.

In order to support and develop its operations, Bodia is seeking for a R&D Technical Engineer.

Contract’s type: Full time job local contract.

Duration: 1-year minimum

Salary: $1500 – $2000/ month (based on experience)

Location: Phnom Penh

Position profile: The product technical Supervisor (PTS) is in charge of the technical expertise of Bodia products and shall overlook the following aspects of the products:

  • – Regulatory affairs
  • – R&D
  • – Quality

Functions & responsibilities:

PTS shall have following responsibilities:

– Legal registration : Bodia general policy aims to follow a R&D and production European standards. PTS shall ensure proper documentation, cosmetic folders, application of GMP, registration towards competent authorities.

– R&D: Member of the Bodia’s decision team, the PTS shall participate to the new strategic products definition. He/ She handles the R&D phase by sourcing appropriate ingredients, conceptualize the prototypes, the production process and the tests validation. On a marketing point of view, the PTS actively participate in benchmarking the existing cosmetics global market and trends.

– Quality: In order to guarantee a constant quality level of Bodia products, the PTS is in charge to supporting the production quality teams, procurement team members in the raw material monitoring, production processes and final products conditions.

Requested skills:

  • Minimum Master in cosmetic engineering
  • 2 to 3 years of experience (excluding internship)
  • English, spoken, read, written.
  • Creative and open mind
  • Pack office.

Regional Sales Manager (M/F)

Position: Regional Sales Manager | Location: Phnom Penh

Scope of work:

In order to open new local markets to Bodia products and spa services, Bodia requires a full-time Regional Sales manager to fulfill the following vital roles;

  • Identify new potential customers (including but not limited to travel agencies, hotels, boutiques, other spas, retail premises)
  • Organize and perform prospection visits to potential customers until sales in the aim of increasing the popularity and visibility of Bodia Spa

Operational responsibilities:

Regional Sales Manager is in charge of Bodia commercial prospection by proposing Bodia Spa services and products including the sales of Spa Training to potential customers

  • Sales prospection
    • Establish a detailed list of potential customers to visit and follow up in Cambodia but also abroad and manage database including all potential business partners (Travel agencies, hotels, airline companies…)
    • Lead active prospection campaign (plan visits on phone and perform the commercial presentation).
    • Create prospection tools with the help of Marketing department such as mini-menu, factsheet, flyers…
    • Networking – Constantly update personal local network by attending events and meeting relevant industry people of Chinese community across the country.
  • Support Sales Department in visiting monthly Existing Travel agency and Hotels in Phnom Penh answering all issues and enquiries under Sales manager
  • VIP and Business management: In charge of organizing Spa inspection with Travel Agencies and /or investors (with BDM support) on site when required.
  • Develop sales managing new potential tour guides creating specific guidelines with commissions under sales manager.
  • Sales operations
    • Edit the customer’s agreement under supervision of Sales Manager.
    • Launch of Operation
      • Welcome valuable customers’ representatives and clients at Spa.
      • Coordinate the new customer’s staff training and “Bodia” education in cooperation with Marketing & Communication Supervisor or Spa Operation Manager.
      • Responsible for providing formal and informal guidance and recommendations to the sellers’ teams regarding cultural awareness related to your markets and selling techniques
      • Increase the average sales per pax for customers training teams of sellers
  • Human Resources responsibilities:

By closely managing its team, the Regional Sales Manager ensures that all tasks are securely handled to ensure the expected sales performance, staff security, satisfaction and compliance and above all, client information and satisfaction.

    • Recruitment: Retail manager should be in charge to follow up the recruitment process with Bodia’s admin department. Job description writing, recruitment process, interviews etc…
    • Training sales team members (sales executive): Regional Sales Manager is in charge of training the selling staff regarding Spa services and customers management.
    • Admin & Bonus management: Keep administrative documentation up to date (job descriptions, flow chart, holidays or purchases request,…).

Incentive should be calculated every month by Regional Sales manager for each sales executive under his/ her watch. He/she should also bring advices about the incentives policy to adjust it as best as possible to the company & sales executive’ common benefit and motivation.

Candidate profile:

The qualified candidate will have the following experience;

  • Fluent in English: speaking and writing.
  • Bachelor degree in sales & marketing.

Online Communication Intern (M/F)

Role/Job Purpose: Online communication intern should bring support to the Digital Media Supervisor in order to establish and implement the accurate online strategies to reach and develop Khmer clientele.

   Functions & responsibilities:

  1. Search Engine Marketing/Traffic Management :

    •  Manage SEA posting ads on search results pages or other websites using methods such as CPC (cost per click) with Google or Bing. It can be part of remarketing campaigns

    •  Improve our general SEO for both websites (create links, meta-descriptions, be familiar with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio …)

RM Stock Officer (M/F)

Role/Job Purpose: The main purpose of the RM Stock Controller job is to be always fully aware of the stock flows in and out in the Raw Material (RM) warehouse. The stock assistant is responsible for receiving RM, prepares them for production and maintains a proper registration on Quickbook for accounting department. Stock Controller is fully responsible for the products security and loss in the warehouse.

   Functions & responsibilities:

•  Receive RM from suppliers to enter the stock: collaborate with Quality Team for counting, controlling quality, registering and storing based on FIFO (First In, First Out)

•  Register the RM flows into the system (Quickbook / Stock cards / Stock report on server / Store hard copy of production documents).

•  Prepare the RM to be extracted from the stock accordingly with production requests and respecting FIFO policy.

•  Receive documentation (Invoices / Quality checks / Production follow-up / Production Sheet) and register the products out/in of stock accordingly (Quickbook / Stock cards / Stock report on server)

•  Responsible for the stock counting and stock report matching.

•  Ensure a perfect organization, cleanliness & safety of the stock room and the products.

•  Communicate with Production and Quality teams regarding stock availability and quality issues
